As many know the Canary Islands are at a strategic point in the Atlantic for blue, white and spearfish Marlin fishing.
Sport fishing of the Marlin
The month of May is a month full of life, on the coasts that bathe the Canary Islands. With a large amount of tuna and bait, it is irresistible for marlin not to enter the islands, where large numbers of tuna, dorado, flying fish, mackerel and sardines will keep them fed for many months. Normally the first marlin of the season are 100-180kg, and as the season progresses we have more fish and larger, reaching September, the favorite month of many of us, catching fish over 400kg.
